Well here we go, my first ever blog post! I love reading other blogs (mostly parenting and home-ed!) and I have been wanting to get on with it and create my own for ages. With lots of very technical support from Dave, here we are, up and running!
This first post is really just an introduction to us and what I hope this blog will become. I love being at home with my family, and I hope to be able to share some of our adventures and ideas with anyone who wants to listen.
Annabelle and I spend most of our time at home doing craft activities, getting messy, splashing in puddles, feeding ducks…the usual! Although she is not school age yet, i already see us as a home-ed family. I really don’t think anything will change on the 1st of September 2014 it’s just a journey that will evolve as she grows. So a lot of my posts will be about our crafts and adventures.
During the weekends and holiday times we visit family, get out and about on our bikes, do lots of shopping and we love camping in the summer. Hopefully there will be fun stuff for us to document.
I am really looking forward to blogging about my little family, and I hope you enjoy it too!
I didn’t realize your blog was so new, Alisa! Do you have a facebook page for it as well? I’d love to share your blog on my fb page if you don’t mind. I’m not sure if you follow my page, but the fb page is the blogger’s best friend. It’s such an easy way to interact with other bloggers and your followers through the day. Let me know if you have one, or if you set one up, and I’ll share it with my readers. In the meantime, I hope you don’t mind if I share your blog with them.
